GINGER-GARLIC SOUP THAT FIGHTS COLD

To prepare the soup, you will need these ingredients:

• 1 – 2 peeled and chopped garlic cloves
• 4 medium-sized sliced green onions
• 1 – 2 sliced ginger
• 6 cups of chicken bone broth or regular chicken stock

How to prepare it and use it:

1. In a pot, add mushrooms, garlic, onion, ginger and a small amount of chicken broth.
2. Simmer it, until the ingredients become soft.
3. Add the rest of the chicken broth and boil it.
4. Cook it for 20 – 30 minutes on a low heat.
5. If you want to increase your energy levels, you can add fresh or dried mushrooms.
6. To boost energy and immunity, add 4 – 5 pieces of Astragalus root to the ginger soup.

You can easily prepare this soup. You can keep it in the fridge for a few days. You can also add other vegetables if you want. However, make sure you do not add a lot of salt, as it brings the ingredients deeper inside the body, and pushes outside the viruses.

ORGANIC CHICKEN BONE BROTH

1. For 1 pound of chicken bones, you need 12 cups of water or you can fill the pot with water to cover the chicken bones.

2. Add 1 tablespoon of apple cedar vinegar and simmer it for 24 hours.

3. After 24 hour-simmering, eliminate the oil and fat from the surface, strain it, and pour it in a glass jar.

4. You can also add vegetable ends in the broth to boost its nutritional content.

VEGETARIAN BONE BROTH

Vegetarians can prepare a vegetarian bone broth by using ends of vegetables or vegetable stock. Simmer it for 8 – 10 hours. You can also add mushrooms, seaweeds or miso to the broth to boost its nutritional value.
