She also added that sodium bicarbonate is a simple remedy, but a very effective one. Moreover, according to the study, kidney inflammation was also prevented with the consumption of baking soda, because the chemical reaction that happens reduced the production of ammonia in the kidney.

There are numerous uses of baking soda, from cleaning to cooking, as deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. It also has numerous medicinal uses. Here are some of them:

Put a pinch of baking soda under the tongue and dissolve it. The next day, in 1.5 liters of water, add ½ a teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon of baking soda and mix it well. Drink this mixture once a day for three days. After these three days, lower the dose to 1/3 a teaspoon salt and ¼ a teaspoon of baking soda.

This dosage is not adequate for each person. It often comes in a form of powder in water. If you have sensitive stomach, you may experience nausea. However, it is not toxic, and everybody can stand its taste and ignore the initial symptoms of nausea. It is very beneficial as it protects the endocrine system and the kidneys.
